We had a drought for several years, and now we have the opposite.
I have been trying to get two different yard projects done for the past three weeks, and I can barely make any headway on them, because it's rained almost every day lately. I'm re-building a retaining wall and digging a drainage system, and I can't do it when the ground is mush. It actually hasn't rained since we got a deluge Wednesday night, and I was hoping I'd finally get to work on it this weekend. I just heard it thunder outside.  |

Cripes...Thanks to El Nino we had a very mild winter. Now it is cold and wet... We just finished one of the wettest and coldest Memorial days evar! |

I guess you're just lucky where you are in GA. We've had a ton of rain all around my house but only about a half inch total the last couple of weeks. The other night they got about 4" about 6 miles N or me. We got a sprinkle out of it.

I love rain! I hated the drought, nothing but sun all day week after week!
It interfers with some things but the drought made me love rain even more! Plus it's making my tomatos even more awesome and plentyful! |
