Best region for what?
California is the best place on earth, geographically speaking. It's not the best place to be a conservative gun owner though.

Please remove New York, Mass, RI, NJ, DE, and possibly Connecticut (They're on probation.) from the list of Northeastern states. VT, NH, and Maine are the only states I recognize in the Northeast.
You know how we have the Midwest? Well, they're the Midnorth.

Ohio isn't mid-Atlantic, it's Midwest. New York is also considered Mid-Atlantic.
I'm not qualified to pick, since I have not been to the entire CONUS. Mid-West is nice though. Mostly middle class, nice and cool, generally conservative. |

Given that the best part of the Southeast, namely the beaches, are about to become oily goo, I'll stick with the Midwest. Lakes, forests, some fine cities, whats not to love?
Now put the Caribbean on the list, and my vote changes... |

If not for the government I like the Northeast. It has it all. Mountains, Lakes, Ocean, change of seasons, no hurricanes,
tornadoes or poisonous vermin (except for the politicians). |

I happen to like Colorado, but with that said, there are nice places withing ALL states.
I despise humidity, so that eliminates 90% of the country for me. |

I've been everywhere in the USA. The South East is my favorite (except S. Florida, where I have a home). TN (where I also have property) is a great mix of rural life, nice people, uncrowded areas, great geography and great climate.
