I had an auction for some Colt mags going on ebay, I had stated this: "per ebay regulations, these are 10 round magazines".

It had been on there for 5 days (10 day auction), and they just canceled it!!!

Bastards!!!

I wish I could get the high bidder's email..

GRRRR

It's against the rules to have auctions on this site. Although it would be really cool to have like an AR15.com auction page... hmm Goatboy??

But the auction was for 4 new 20 round Universals, and 5 98% 20 round Colts. The last of my 20 rounders.

Email me with a respectible offer, if you're interested...

Maybe we could start an ARBAY.com...

I wish I had the discipline to boycott ebay, but I just sold a printer for 300 that I paid less than 200 for brand new in 98'
sometimes I just can't help it.  They can sell porn and sextoys all day long, but let someone try and sell guns...What a bunch of friggin hypocrites...

How do you know the guy you pissed off in the Equipment Exchange didn't rat you out ???

www.ar15.com/forums/topic.html?id=103369

In this locked topic, you're integrity is in question...

You flat out call the other guy a "LIAR", but yet you type lies of your own here in your own words ???

You claim to have stated in your Ebay ad, you were "selling 10-round mags as per Ebay rules"

Yet you tell everyone here that they are actually "The last of your 20 round mags"...

This obviously is a violation of Ebays policy, and you should be banned from Ebay for breaking that policy, regardless of how stupid the rules are...

It's called "MISREPRESENTATION OF GOODS"

You sir, are the liar I'm afraid...

Not trying to start a flame war, or get this thread locked, only pointing out obvious fact...

Read my signature line below...
Seems to directly apply in this case...

Oh yeah, I'd sure hate to buy a 10 round mag off Ebay only to find out I'd been lied to and it really held 20 or 30 rounds. [rolleyes]

I recently purchased 12 USGI "10 round" M14 magazines on EBay (less than $30 apiece).

[:O] Was I ever shocked to find out that they were actually 20 rd. magazines.

Why not go to one of the firearms auction sites like gunbroker.com or others?  At least then your audience is more targeted and you don't have to put up with Ebay's BS.

Oddly, before EBay imposed the "no hi-cap" rules, ALL of the mags for sale were overpriced.

Now that they have the silly rule, it confuses the idiots who used to pay $50 for a mag enough, so that bargains now exist.

I like the no hi-cap rules.
It keeps out the know-nothing, riff raff who wouldn't know a 30 rd. magazine by sight.
They're the ones that overbid anyhow.

Look at the ads for AR-15 mags on Auction Arms or GunBroker. Amidst all the USA and other aftermarket crap, you might find a handful of overpriced USGI mags.
