my girlfriend recently started going to the range with me, she doesn't like the glocks much, but her favorite is my s&w model 66 .357 magnum 4" with 38 rounds.
i didn't pressure her, she had never fired a firearm in her life so i just kinda let her tell me when she wanted to try it.  now i can't go to the range without her.

i make it a point to shoot hers, and let her shoot mine whenever we go. of my rifles, she prefers my 16" ar, i guess she's just a carbine woman at heart. she doesnt like my 1911 at all.

we try not to take more than 3 guns each, gotta clean em, y'know.

My girlfriend really enjoys going to the range. She is partial to revolvers, so I bought her a S&W 66 4". I keep promising her an S&W Airweight, since she really really liked the one she shot. She is going to start shooting the 10/22 once I get it set up as well.

I only wish I could get her to go with me, she doesn't like the noise or the recoil (of a .22LR).  On top of that she is a lefty and shoots goofy...so it doesn't bother me that much, but I would like her to be able to shoot

My fiancee has taken up a new hobby in the past year ... shooting!

She shoots the single shot 22 I learned on and the AR15.

We have a competitive rifle club here at school and she is learning and practicing fundamentals with an RWS air rifle.

As soon as I can find a decent woman who isn't scared to death of guns, I'll let ya know.....Edited to add: If it's the recoil of .357s that bothers you, and you are using factory grips, ditch 'em and get a set of Hogue grips; they'll make a world of difference. If it's just the noise, you DO wear hearing protection, don't you? I know it may be a dumb question, and all that, but if you don't wear some sort of hearing protection, you should.

I've shot hubby's AR,not sure if i like that or not. As it's a big bang. But atleast I know how to shoot it if we get and unexpected guess in the house late at night. If you know what I mean.

Don't forget the ear protection [shock]

Better yet, for unexpected "guests" get a Remington 870, some 00 Tactical Load and sleep well. [}:D]

My wife shoots with me all the time.  She has a glock 36 for carry and loves it.  She also loves shooting "MY" AR.  She now calls it "HERS" and says I need to get myself one now.  humph!!  Guess I should have never let her shoot that one.  She doesn' like the .338WM much, but then I don't care to shoot it alot either.  Kicks like a pissed off mule.  But she handles it pretty well for the first 10 rounds or so.  She really likes the Ruger 9mm too.

Well Mrs Wildweasel has her own A1 style AR15
Just like the M16a1 she used when I met her in the army. and her own .380 Detonics backup for carry. She wants to get into shooting HP matches with me too, but I am not sure she will like the wieght of the match AR I am building.
So she may end up with a hybred lighter match gun for her. (Lighter barrel float tube and no weights to start.)
