Here is a chance to show off your toys.  Lets see what ya got!  We can play a kinda Gun Poker.  Since this is an AR-15 sight I'll start us off with my AR that I built from a Model 1 Sales and Bushmaster lower.  The others are my wanna-bes but I'm kinda proud of the walnut cheek piece I made by hand for my Russian SKS. guns7.62

O.K. since I have just learned how to post pictures, I gotta keep going; here is the rest of my collection. Ya, I know I'm showing off a bit, but most are not worth much money, but I love the history in most of them.  guns7.62

Where did you get that sling on your Mosin-Nagant carbine? I have been looking for one for a looooong time, or did it come with the rifle?

Hey Boris,
Good eyes! Nice Sig by the way.  You look pretty cool with your AR; you definately look the part.  I believe I got the sling from Gun Parts Corp.  If you noticed, I need to get one for my M91, but would like to get the leather version.  I saw it somewhere, but can you believe I forgot where.  I think Gun Parts still has slings for the M44's but they are the Finish versions, I think, not sure on that though.   guns7.62

Hey Hunter,

Quick questions if you don't mind: Thats a Trijicon reflex II on your "working carbine", right?  That mount you have, what is it, does the front of it attach to the handguard as well, and do you like that configuration better than putting it in place of the removable handle?  Reason I ask is I can't decide between the A2 and A3 configuration for my next purchase...

Much Thanks.

Bigshooter

You are correct that is a Reflex II and that is the Trijicon carry handle mount. (RX10) It does not attached to the front of the carry handle.

What you can't see (I will post a picture later) is the exact machined bevel that matches the sight channel of the A1 A2 or A3. There is one quick removable but locking nut that holds it on and it is ABSOULUTELY rock solid. Anything that would damage that system would trash the entire weapon.

I like the scout forward mount because I have open sight back-up for the Reflex. If the tritium projector gets blocked by snow or mud I still have open sights. If it is too bad I can lose the entire Reflex in seconds.

hope that helps

That is a trijicon "carry handle" mount. It is one of the configs availalbe from Trijicon. I can attest that it is a cool setup. A weaver mount trijicon one the flatop is not as fast in my opinion. I'm just used to the line of sight being a little higher.

Thanks for the info gents. Yea, I can see that it doesn't attach to the top of the handle now that I'm on a different computer. Seems like a good mishap-proof setup.
