Regardless of military power, police state, et cetera. No matter how bad things get, nobody will kick in the doors of houses knowing there's a good chance the people behind those doors will be armed. That is what the second amendment gives us. No military, foreign or domestic, no matter how powerful, would dare mess with peoples' families when they'd lay down their own lives, armed, to protect them. |
