Lars Larson was broadcasting live from the OSU quad yesterday, in concert with the College Republicans celebrating 2nd Amendment week. As part of it they were holding a raffle for an AR-15. Lots of folks were buying tickets. Anyway, later on after work (I happen to work at OSU and had bought my own tickets), my friend from church drops by unexpectedly, with a black gun case. He walks into my foyer, opens it up, and goes, "Ok, how do I operate this thing? You're the first person I've shown this to!".
Another AR owner born! He was very stoked. They also included 5 windowed P-Mags and a bunch of boxes of Winchester white box. Not bad for $5 raffle ticket!  |
