How many people have to vote to change the constitution?

I thought to change the constitution it was necessary for 2/3 of the states legislatures to ratify the amendment.

The answer is 275 people

1/2 Senate + 1

1/2 House + 1

President

1/2 Supreme Court + 1

Constitution Changed. Pretty Sad.

The Constitution was written to limit govt. what good is it if the govt. can change the limits whenever it wants?????

he is referring to adding amendments etc, the bill of rights cannot be altered, regardless of how many people support it.

Wrong! As already mentioned, after all the above, 2/3 of state legislatures have to approve it.

The bill of rights are amendments and can be changed as mentioned above, including 2/3 of state legislatures.
