I just returned from Wis. following the birth of my second (and last!) niece.  She is perfectly healthy (scored all 9's, whatever that means) and weighed 8# 6 oz., and was 20 1/2" long, even though she was taken C-Section at 36 weeks--a full month early.  They say she would have been nearly 12 lbs. full term!!  There were no problems with her or my sister-in-law, so we are very relieved.  Thank you all who showed concern and offered prayers.  This hurdle is past, now it's just the heart surgery in May for my sis to worry about.  My brother is very happy/proud.  Me too! [:D]

Thanks!  I agree with you about the name.  I was not consulted (of course), and the name is Jaylee Jordan.  The "Jaylee" part was just "made up" by the four y/o sister.  [rolleyes]

NO!!  This is my brother's wife.  The other one is her sister, no kin to me, except by marriage.  They both just happened to have babies two weeks apart.  I will be nice, but I haven't seen her yet.  I'm always nice--can't you tell?  LOL  [:D]

A cute story:  two weeks ago was my first niece's 4th b-day.  With the tough pregnancy and all we did not take her shooting, as we did for her 3rd.  She mentioned it in a whiny voice--"Uncle Mike didn't take me shooting for my birthday this year!"  We never even brought it up, but she remembered.  We think we'll keep her!!  [:D]
