Easy, after you know the tricks. Took me about 2 hours to clean the G3 first time I cleaned it, 15 minutes when I knew how to do it.

Start on the easy parts while the receiver is soaked in oil, it is the hardest part to get clean. The bolt carrier is tricky around the firing pin, except for that it's pretty much straight forward with the lower and barrel. |

And do NOT use your sling like a strap wrench to get the bolt back together...I've seen some guys do/try that when they can't get it aligned properly to slip together.
