i just received to spam emails and wanted to know if anybody else received them or not.

the first one:
[email protected]

the second one:
ertwf @ms29.hinet.net

the similiarity is obvious. anyone know how i can figure out who/what they came from?

i never get unsolicited mail in this account, so this is really irking me.

I know the feeling. I've been getting a ton of bounced emails that I never sent at another account that I maintain. Irritating as hell.

What we need is a Homeland Spam Agency. [;)]

No spam at all in my AR15.COM mail box.

I check my yahoo mail once a month, last time I had 235 spam emails!

Nothing like that in my AR email, but I get about 200 emails a day to my hotmails even with my filter list maxed out to stop spam!

hmmmm. well, i thought whomever might have used the ar15.com part of the address and it might have gotten around to a few more.

i hardly ever use ar15.com email so i don't know how this would have gotten on a mailing list.

unless one of you sold it...........

oddest thing. i DO NOT have an ar15.com address, but i got the second e-mail arlady got. weird.
perhaps it came through my link

I use my @ar15.com e-mail a lot..go figure. I received 4 in the last two days with the same address ARlady. I just delete them. RBAD has a super anti-virus program in place so no worry there. But I agree...GoatBoy let them in![:D]

I have recently received two weird emails and a virus alert. First time for spam on the Ar15 account. I don't normally send from that account.

[green] But, I just remembered at least one on-line business (besides GOAT INC) that would have had the AR15 address. Crap! I hate it when people do that! [/green]

Update:

Still nothing on my AR15.com address, but on my other email account (the one that is linked on the top of my posts) today I have recieved one bounceback that I never sent and a virus (W32.Klez.E@mm).

Maybe someone is lurking this board to get email addresses to screw with...

EDITED to add that I have not had so much as one spam, junk mail or unwanted email on that account until today.

I dont have an AR15.com email address, but twice now, both seperate times, I've gotten two virus alerts at once.. then in between both of them is a half typed message from an AR15.com moderator..very werid..

appears like so in my inbox:

Warning Virus was detected,etc etc
[email protected]
Warningvirus was detected...

that has happened twice...

I've gotten 2 virus's (both were caught and contained) but not one spam email yet. I used to put my ar addy on my posts, but I thought it over and don't now.
