does a big earthquake to like, ripple and squish other tectonic plates to where they release and grind causing more earthquakes?

Give and Take. If one moves, it has to give or take space somewhere else. I'd be more worried if volcanoes were going full retard all over the world. There were earthquakes before seismic monitoring.

Believe it or not... this is perfectly normal seismic activity. Violent, but normal.

The science of seismology generally says that quakes will occur in random intervals. The mathematics of randomness predicts that clustering will occur. In fact, if you don't have clustering, you don't have true randomness.

That said, I have no doubt that one large quake can and probably is responsible for triggering other quakes... which trigger others... ad infinitum. Stresses build up to enormous levels in the earth's crust. A large event in one part of the world is certain to trigger another event elsewhere.

In the case of the 2nd and 3rd quakes, it is likely that if they had NOT been triggered now, they'd have self-triggered later... producing a LOT more damage, because they'd have had more time to build up pressure.

In all seriousness, it is interesting that they seem to occur primarily in third world parts of the globe, with the exception I suppose of San Francisco some years back. You can only imagine one in the central business district of New York or London.

This. Also, earthquakes are the media's darling now... They'll report every little trembler for awhile. There are always little tremblers, nothing to see here. Plates are plates and are all connected, there are bound to be some reactions.
