Left one looks like PTO. The right one I don't know. Amber Lamps?
The one on the left looks like it centrally locks the differential. The one on the right....clutch start cancel switch maybe?
Those are the idiot eject buttons. They wanted to make sure with you, so they put two in.
Government Motors secret agent man...The left is for go fast , the right is for passenger eject......
Owner's manual. It's that "book" in the glove compartment. Yes, I know, it has pages and printing and is not a computer screen, but that's how they did things back in the day.
First one is "FO Time", the second one is "I'm Foing".
Use with care, and blade to 45. |
left is a central diff lock/tcase lock, the one of the right I would guess to be a back up sensor on/off ?
I'm going to go with left is PTO control and right is air suspension control. They look like rocker switches.

What ever you do don't push the buttons.... Its a GM it is likely to explode.
Think the left is diff lock and the right is descent control, maybe? The ring and crescents are the same as on a parking brake symbol...
Big trucks usually aren't four wheel drive... I doubt its a diff lock.
ejection seats. You must have purchased the 007 edition from your dealer. One of them is probably the hidden rocket launcher as well.
If it had an owners manual I wouldn't be asking.
Although, if I didn't get smart ass responses, it wouldn't be ARFCOM. I've confirmed the left is a diff. lock. I'm hoping that the right one is a descent control. Thanks for the help fellas. |

Left one looks like PTO. The right one I don't know. Amber Lamps? I think PTO was removed from the Allison in 2005 or so ( to save a few bucks, wtf?) but it was available on chassis cab trucks and if that right toggle is a back up warning light he may have a chassis cab. |

AR.com of Chev deisel trucks. Post in the 4500-6500 section they will know. |
left is deploy saws for driving through forest.
right is robotic homing pigeon. |
While at highway speeds, flip both repeatedly until something breaks, then you know what they are

The one on the left is to disable NASCAR mode––it enables the vehicle to turn right. The one on the right activates the GPS restaurant locator, as indicated by an ear of corn on a plate.
The one on the left is for the Flame thrower. The one on the right is the Obama bumper sticker retaliation device. |

Left one is rocket pod, right one is oil slick. You guys and your smart-assed, other-wordly answers! GM did away with rocket pods as a concession in the last round of union talks, and switched from oil slicks to roofing nails after intensive market analysis back in ought-two. Sheesh. |
Oil slick buttons.
One dumps the transmission fluid, the other dumps the engine oil. Makes for fast getaways. |
Center Diff lock on & Stability (Or traction) Control off or a Hill Decent system.

Left one is autopilot. Right one is fleshlight. Awsome, I think I'll be using both buttons regularly......at the same time!!!! |

Anytime you see what looks like parentheses around a circle it is a brake system icon.
The puff of smoke in the middle indicates exhaust system. Your truck has an exhaust brake installed (Jake Brake) it looks like. Is that what you guys are calling "Descent Control"? |

I'm almost positive every GM vehicle comes with oil slick, or antifreeze slick, standard. Most are automated however. |

left is problably a transfer case lock/unlock.
DO NOT UNLOCK your transfer case unless you're familiar with the effects of it. I won't say another thing, except READ THE MANUAL |

I would agree with the people who actually helped lol. Left seems to be the transfer case lock which would probably put you in the super low 4 wheel drive. Just a guess but would probably make front and back wheels turn at same speed and very hard to turn and stuff. Had a friend who had a H2 and with the super low 4 it could pull anything lol. I watched him pull a work van out of a snowy ditch that my buddy couldn't get out with his super duty with lots of stuff done to it lol.
The other still confuses me seems to be a pto does the truck have a dump bed? |
transfer case lock and exhaust brake would be my best guess as well.
I think those had options of PTO's as well, but the icon for those looks very similar to our beloved arfcom boltface logo. |
