I know my AGPs days are limited now so......should I wait for a lil while longer or should I jump into the PCI-E market. Is there something new coming soon that would make the current prices fall. I was told that PCI-E cards are a considerable jump over the AGP versions. If I do decide to do a swap I will also have to upgrade my : CPU, Mobo & Memory......

My Current Setup :

Windows XP Professional
LianLi Tower w/ 500w Power Supply
ASROCK K7S8XE Mobo
AMD Athlon XP2400+
1GB PC2700 DDR333 (2x512MB)
Dual Maxtor 120GB HDDs
PNY Nvidia 6600GT 128MB AGP
Dual Dell 2005FPW 20.1" Widescreen LCDs <<LOVE EM
I/O Magic DVD RW/R Drive
Creative Labs Sound Blaster Live!
Altec Lansing 2100 System
Logitech USB Keyboard
Razer Copperhead Tempest Blue
Lucent WinModem
Realtek PCI Fast Ethernet NIC

Thanks for any Suggestions - Travis

Here is a couple Pics of my system :

Why do you want to upgrade?

Is there a game out that doesn't play well on your computer?

My advice, which I have failed to personally heed on occasion and have always regretted:  Buy for TODAY, not for tomorrow.  You cannot future-proof your computer.

It would be different if you were still running win98 on a  Tbird 1.4, but you're not.  Your computer is up to snuff.

I am kind of curious how you ended up with a gig of pc2700 instead of pc3200.

The game F.E.A.R. is a real system hog..... Alot of games here lately seem to be that away.

Like : Qauke4, Doom3, PARIAH, LOTRs: BFME (Only when there is like 1000 characters on screen)...

Don't remember why I choose the PC2700. Built it in Spring of 04.
