The page will resize to a certain degree (not much smaller than 800x600 screen resolution) and up to whatever display you can throw at it. The reason is simply the amount of data on the sceen at a given time and the fact that most PCs are running at a MIN of 800x600.

I run my laptop at 800x600 on medium resolution and have no problems with it, but have seen large fonts on it as being cumbersome. Thus, why there are so many options available to you in using the site.
