How do I save messages? How do I keep messages from being deleted as soon as I reply to them? I'm totally confused by this message system and it doesn't have an email notification like other sites.

There is an option in the IM menu, under the message you recieve, that say something like "save and send."
And if you don't reply and just read it, there is another button below the message that says "save." If you forget to do that, you have 24 hours to retrieve it from "trash" and click "save." |
