I'm on a cable modem in NY with the same results.  Probably something related to a lack of maintenance during the BRC, don't sweat it, GB will get it back on par in no time.

Maaannnn. I haven't seen this place this slow in a long, long time.

It took me 1min. 15sec. to get from the front page to the forum. Another minute and a half to get from the forum list to where I could view topics. And almost 2 minutes to get from topic title to read posts. Then 2 minutes + from reply until I could start typing.

I guess my dial-up isn't too much slower than your guy's cable. But I'm outta' here as soon as I can and will check back tomorrow.

I can already feel the withdrawls coming on. [:(]

It's faster if I goto ar15.com homepage and then click forums rather than clicking on ar15.com forums on my favorites
