I had a thread there asking about RRA from about February of 2000, with a step-by-step of my experiences with them. It might be good for me to link to it to possibly ease some people's minds about RRA, but of course I can't. Will it be back?? |

Treetop, sorry about not getting to you on this...
The old forums along with weapon forums, were on that disk which we have been trying to rebuild/recover. To be honest we have not had much time to address that issue as we've been spending the time we have working here. (Apologies to 50 World people too!) The situation with that drive does not look good as we have yet been able to pull much of the data from it. Sure we can grab bits here or there before failure, but its too small and disorganized to qualify as worthy material. I assume that the drive will fall under "scrap" material and turned in for a warrentied replacement. Apologies to those hoping to have a library of old forum information and weapon forums information as well. -- GB |

GoatBoy, why don't you send the disk to the Chinese Intelligence Service? I hear they have plenty of expertise recovering data from partially destroyed computer items.

lol... I miss weapons forum too. maybe we could just start anew?
I'm not much of a poster (check the reg date vs. # of posts) but I love reading the stuff on different weapons. especially the ones I dont currently own. jneal |

50World and others will be back once functionality is worked out on AR15.com. This means that once the product reviews and article submissions are up, we can relax and "duplicate" the framework across several sites.
Currently, July 1 is our target date to "complete" AR15.com. The rest will come sometime after that! |
