[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Save the old boards contents.

Well, If the decision is going to be made to switch over to the new board, some effort should go into saving all the content from the old board. The biggest asset this site has is the knowledge base stored up in all those past posts. It would be graet if it could be dumped inta an archive forum for searching.

I agree, and is the old forum gone. If so let me know so I can delete it from my favoites list.

You're right about the wisdom (and other stuff) that is sitting in the old forum. If it can be added to this forum, or at least loaded into some searchable archive, it would save at least one newbie (me) from not even knowing what questions to ask.
