Haven't asked in a while, so I'll bang this drum again.

The old software had a function where you could delete your posts.  Handy for getting rid of sold items in the EE, removing your foot from your mouth on occasion and saving bandwidth.  Granted you can edit a post down to almost blank space, but that is untidy and doesn't get rid of the whole thread if you started it.

The 2 arguments against it have been that, 1) there is plenty of bandwidth so no worries about using it up, and 2) abuse in the EE by people deleting an ad and reposting in order to BTT it before the 72 hours waiting period.

Well, 1) All resources are finite.  The bandwidth that seems endless now will eventually be used up, and 2) Set a delay of 72 hours before any post can be deleted preventing premature BTTs.

How about it GB?  What do others think?
