I know that I am not alone in my disdain for and avoidance of the "General Discussion" forum here.  However, I do like the "Active Topics" tool.  The only problem with "Active Topics" is that for those of us who are only interested in the technical forums, it is cluttered up by "General Discussion" topics.

It would be nice if there was either a way to customized "Active Topics" to only scan boards that the user chooses, or at the very least an alternative button that only lists topics from boards other than "General Discussion".

How about if instead we could get an "active topics" for each of the forum areas.  One for AR-15, AK-47, Handgun, Armory, General, Hometown, and Equipement Exchange.

Forum specific active topics.... interesting.

Customizable My Active Topics would be nice to... like a "sort by" tool or something for both would probably work well enough. Sor by forum... BAM... you see everything listed by its forum. Sort by member, sort by date, sort by price.... well you get the idea...

Anything we can do to eliminate the drivel from "active topics" would be great.  That includes all these new forums like religion and cars and all that stuff.
