Will this ever return?  I've found myself not using this as much as other sites due to the hassles of tracking my topics.

Otherwise am VERY impressed with where this place has gone.

Just look at the top right or bottom right of the forum, by the "New Reply" icon, it says "Toggle Email Updates"!

Just found it today.  I like this system better than the old one because you can get email updates to any thread you're interested in, as opposed to just the ones you started.

Great idea!  Though now I'm sure I'll have tons of emails to check every night!  :)
