I have an IPV D2 which has been great. It doesn't use the same chip as the IPV3Li you are talking about. When it comes to temp control I love the way my rDNA40 works. It obviously locks the resistance in and you can set the temp in Fahrenheit and use watts. It then gives you the real time wattage output which throttles back a little if you reach the set cut off temp. The IPV D2 says you need to lock in the resistance but I'm not sure it actually does, since I see it fluctuate. The output power is in Joules, not wattage, so I am not sure what I am aiming for, and there is no real time output displaying on the screen, except the ohms which fluctuate. All in all the rDNA40 has been better for me with temp control. Maybe the IPV3Li is more similar to the DNA40 chip, but I dunno. This is just my experience so I would recommend cracking a beer or something and watching a few youtube videos on both and see what really appeals to you.
ETA: When I say the IPV D2 has been great it has. But I use it for work and only in wattage mode. Great battery life on a .64 ohm coil at 23 watts. |

I'm going to second Keith on the D2. Best damn thing that's come out in awhile IMO.
BUT, if it absolutely must be dual batts, I'd say go with the IPV. Damn things are built like tanks. I LOVE the DNA chip, but not really sold on the 200 yet. Then again I rarely Vape past 40 watts anymore  What manufacturer are you looking at for the DNA 200? That really makes all the difference |

I want something that is going to last and dual batteries is a must for battery life. I looked at the 4s model but didn't like the feel. |

A normal 5-7 wrap with nickel is only ~.1ohms so with a dual coil that would be cut to .5ohms. Thus the need for something to fire down that low. With a normal build I don't need it. |

Check out the wismec Reuleaux, has the DNA200 chip with 3 18650's for power. sexy beat it is. Coming out by end of Nov. 170.00
