so the stingray clone I got has a black finish over the copper.  Already getting scratched up.  Im thinking of removing the coating and torching the copper.  Anyone have some tips?  Either that or maybe Ill do some pattern sanding on the copper and fade some red candy from one end so it appears to fade from red to copper and clearcoat it at work.  Haven't decided yet.

yeah, you want to patina it, not torch it. torch is for stainless.

I kinda like the torch colors though.  Not so much into making the copper look old and weathered.
