Has anybody else seen the preview for this new show on SyFy called Z Nation? Not sure what to make of it yet. Could be useful for a good laugh.

Reminds me a bit of what should have happened afterd DOTD'04, hope they take some cheap shots ar Rick and crew.

I have a feeling this will be closer to how arfcomerd would behave in the Z-paw.

Nope, could always use a couple more. I'm guessing it has potential if they don't half-ass it like there other projects.
Some of these low budget film companies could put out some really good work if they chose to do so.

I'll watch it again but I won't be setting my DVR yet. I'm not excited about it. They brought in Harold Perrineau to kick it off because he has some genre recognition from 28 Weeks Later and from LOST. And , they've got their "Rick" wanna-be in Thomas Everett Scott who also has some recognition. They've spent a couple bucks so I'll give it a shot.

Just got done watching it on DVR. It was entertaining to say the least. I'll continue to see how it goes. It definitely has the syfy budget look to it.

I watched the first episode and thought it was pretty good. Their weapons actually have sites!. The plot seems interesting. They gave a little salute to the walking dead when the LT talks about and policeman in a prison telling them about the blue sky camp. The baby killing some D boy was a little stupid however. I will keep watching for sure. I hope it does well and lasts a few seasons.....

At least their weapons aren't airsoft crap from Cheaper than Dirt with CGI muzzle blast. I really enjoy cheesy SciFi, but if the slide doesn't cycle and brass doesn't eject... I just can't watch.

How many years has it been? Curious as we already have Cannibalism.

I enjoy it for what it is; a time waste until WD comes back.
The Citizen Z guy is annoying.
The doctor still being alive is ridiculous, but ohhh well.

And the stickup scene, I always want the good-guy leader to tell his team to all put sites on the bad-guy leader - so he knows he dies no matter what. I promise he will back down.

Just watched the first episode based on recommendations in this thread and holy shit that's some bad acting. I mean this steaming pile makes TWD look like oscar material.
