Vermont State Rifle & Pistol Association January 28, 2011
The VSRPA would like to alert you that there are 3 bills before the Vermont House that are of interest to Vermont Sportsmen and Sportswomen. These bills are:
· H.10 - An Act Relating to the Design and Inspection of Shooting Ranges
· H.83 - An Act Relating to the Negligent Storage of a Firearm
· H.89 - An Act Relating to the Banning of Hunting Black Bear with Dogs
It is the opinion of the VSRPA that these bills are onerous to the common sense of Vermont’s Sportsmen and Sportswomen, and we ask for your consideration to speak out against all three.
To voice your opposition, please call the Sergeant of Arms at (802) 322-5616 and politely ask to leave the following message for Chair Deen and Speaker Smith:
“NO to H.10, H.83 and H.89”.
These Bills, and others that may arise of concern to Sportsmen and Sportswomen, can be found on the VSRPA website at this page.
Please forward this e-mail to your fellow Vermonters who you feel may be interested.
Thank You
Vermont State Rifle and Pistol Association
