Mom was dumped at a shelter two days before giving birth.  The shelter had a foster family that pretty much took care of any mom/puppy rescues for the shelter, from care, to bringing them to adoption events... so we got to know the fosters.  They are also who we got our other dog from.  They created a facebook group for all the adoptive families of moms and puppies they cared for.  Well they did a puppy reunion for our puppy Fitz's family, so we went.  They still have mom even!  4 of 9 puppies showed up, 2-3 more were gonna come but ended up not making it... but they will in the future.

There was also another litter reunion(not pictured) from a mom they fostered as well since a lot of us have a dog or two from them.

They all played, and ran, and had a great time.  Mom even had fun.  They all seemed to pick up right where they left off.

BTW, the puppies will be 7mo old on 8/30, so they look older than they are.  They are a mix of ACD, Australian Shepherd, and possibly some Border Collie... they pretty much exhibit pure Texas Heeler traits... and some of the ones that did not show up look like typical Texas Heeler mixes.

Momma!  Still with foster family... i think they might keep her lol.

Fitz, our boy.. and a mommas boy too lol.

Fitz and one of his brothers, Skyler.. who is like 25% larger lol.

Skyler and mom meeting back up

Here was 7 of the 13 in my late dogs' litter:

King was the black and white pup kind of in the middle, and Molly was the grey and white one right behind him. The pup on top of Molly was the "boss" pup, Boomer. King was 2nd in command. A few months later, King and Boomer met in puppy training class and King was just too intense for Boomer, he had been made into a wuss.  Over the years, we met at least 10 of the other pups in the litter, possibly all 11 of them. When they would meet, they would all start screaming in an odd way.

Later pic, King making Molly miserable. Notice Molly "licking", as she did when she got nervous.

Was boomer not socialized or what?

Yeah, they all had completely different personalities.  There were 9 total in this litter.  Some were bossy, some were cuddly, some were playful, and one was LOUD.  LOL.

the bossy one is fine now, but they are all very strong willed dogs, as their breeds dictate.  They need an outlet for their energy since they are working dogs, we got ours to be a buddy for our JRT mix.. it is working out great, they wear each other out lol.

The first hour Fitz was home...

OP,
Those are a great looking litter of dogs.  They came out a very beautiful mix of breeds.
