Okay guys, weird challenge for you. I read a great book that needs to be read by everyone, but I can't remember the title OR author because it's been 10 years give or take since I loaned out my copy. Help me find it so I can start recommending it.
Here's what I remember:
Date: It was new and in hardcover sometime between 1997 and 1999.
Cover Art: Swat team line up near the top, dark background, lady liberty in a white robe, knocked to the ground, one breast exposed (I think), maybe the scales of justice in there somewhere and I think a burning copy of the constitution.
Author: Name was short and simple, i.e. John Smith, Joe Bob, Jay Brown.... I think
Title: No idea
Subject: It followed the life of four (I think) joe-blow gun enthusiasts who are pushed into fighting back when the government goes too far. It's fiction but includes descriptions of Waco and Ruby ridge. The government starts coming after gun-owners and gun owners start fighting back. It turns into a mini-revolution. It's a good read, though I remember the editing was pretty poor (spelling and such).
SOMEONE had to have read it, please help me find it again.
Thank you,
Nate (Stealth-X)
