I have finished reading Trigger Men: Shadow Team, Spider-Man, the Magnificent Bastards, and the American Combat Sniper by Hans Halberstadt

An excellent read about Snipers and Scout/Snipers in Iraq. It delves into selection, training and equipment. Then first hand accounts of operations and tactics from guys on the ground in Iraq. What works and what does not, as well as the challenges the Snipers and Scout/Snipers face from the Command Staffs.

I highly recommend it.

Another good sniper book is 'Sniper One' - This is by a Brit Army sniper covering an intense siege in Southern Iraq and is very well written.
