Last night I taped Clapton's Crossroads Festival and I was watching it this morning.  What a concentration of immense talent in a small place!

Johnny Winter sure is looking rough these days, though.  He did the slide thing with "Highway 61 Revisited."

Tal Wilkenfeld played bass with Jeff Beck.  I hadn't seen her before.  She is absolutely incredible.  What a phenominal bassist.

It would be great to make it to that show one day.

I ordered the DVD from Amazon.com the other night, waiting impatiently for it to show up.

I was in the front row of the one in Dallas.
That, by far, was the greatest concert I have EVER been to.

I was so pissed off at the DVD--it even come close to showing the best parts.

At one point, Buddy Guy, BB King, Eric Clapton, Jimmy Vaughan, and John Mayer (hate his CD stuff, but damn this kid is a great blues guitar player) play together. It was utterly unbelievable.
