A beautiful FG-1 is for sale.  It is very rare to see these birds up for sale.  Now we can own one!

$3 mill is to "acquire".

We need another group to fly it and a 3rd to fix, hangar and insure.

That's the Corsair from Military Aviation Museum here in Virginia Beach. The thing is absolutely gorgeous.

He's also selling his Spitfire, Wildcat, Skyraider, and Avenger on Platinum Fighters. God knows what he has listed elsewhere. Half the shit's going to be gone before I go back.

I thought it looked familiar....I received an email about the possibility of down sizing their inventory. Guess it's on...Damn!!!.

I'm in York County, and go there frequently for the shows.

There she is just to the right of the middle of the photo. Awesome plane. I have a video of her firing up, but can't get the damn thing to post. Always a great show at this place. Gonna miss those ole birds.

We used to have a Planes of Fame museum a short drive away until the owner moved them all to CA.  I miss those planes.  They had a Corsair too.

I'm going there this weekend. What should our offer be? lol

Edit:
Still there. They didn't take my $20 offer

New update!

The Corsair is no longer for sale! They aren't taking any more offers and they're letting the listings expire. Looks like he's keeping everything that's still there. The planes should be insured and ready to fly again soon.
