I know many of you have been waiting for this so here it goes!
I am kicking off another cigar pass for the troops.
If you want to participate, here's what you need to do:

1. Sign up here by posting in this thread.
2. IM me your address.
3. If you participate in the pass, you MUST ship the box pass out within a few days of receipt and you MUST ship in a manner that utilizes tracking information somehow. The easiest way to ship is via USPS's Flat Rate box with delivery confirmation but UPS/Fedex/similar will also work.
4. You MUST post that tracking information in this thread. Just the tracking info, not the person's address. This keeps people honest and the box moving!
5. Be generous, all of the cigars finally collected will go to the troops. Every last stick no exceptions goes in the boxes!!!

The pass itself:

1. I will start the pass with 10-15 cigars and mail it out to the first person on the list.
2. Upon receipt, the person will then take whichever cigars he or she likes. Those cigars MUST be replaced by an equal amount of similarly priced cigars.
3. It's recommended that you donate above and beyond your takes as all of the cigars collected will go to the troops.
4. Feel free to contribute items for the troops. Snacks, games, movies, snuff, you get the idea. All items collected will go to the troops.
5. After you've done your puts and takes, mail the box out to the next address in line. I will be sending you that address.
6. You must mail using some method that will provide tracking information and please try to get the box out again quickly.
7. You must then post that tracking information in this thread.


If you have a large package ready to go or a bunch of stuff please send it to me directly and send the box on its way to the next person on the list.
I have three persons from three branches lined up to receive and distribute BUT...IF YOU HAVE A BUDDY, TEAMMATE, OR OTHERWISE DEPLOYED UNIT THAT YOU KNOW OF....IM or EMAIL ME AND WE WILL SHARE THE WEALTH!!!


New members must contact me for a little Q&A just to make sure you fully understand how this goes.
We run a clean ship and like to make sure this can be all it needs to be.

I will ship you smokes for the troops if thats OK? I am in no position to recieve a box, turn it back out and etc. My travel schedule after the 13th is nuts.

Advise if this is acceptable.

I'm sure that's fine. Echo is always accepting boxes :) If it would help Echo out you could even ship them to me and I will add them when the box comes to me.

I will get about ten guys doing just that....never a problem.
Just send it and I will acknowledge and add it to the mix.

The Pass is always optional, never required and there to put a little spice in the process!

I'm in. Depending on when it's my turn to receive I might have to bump down the list, there is at least one week in the next month that I won't be around, but every other time is fine. If that's okay, then I'm down.

IM me the schedule to avoid and I will put a two week buffer around it.
Since it takes some guys longer to flip the box, it should easily make it to you on a schedule that will work.

...I have turned one or two of these...it can work!

Just wanted to say thanks.  In Iraq last year we got all kinds of goodie boxes, cards, books, etc.  Beyond the items themselves was the reassurance that the country really was behind us - that helped.

I have 16 in and if we get four more I will shut it down.
All players will get a shot at each box but this way we aren't waiting until Christmas for the boxes to start hitting the boys deployed!

Dueling boxes would be different , what ever you guys want to do is ok with me .

I'd rather split it. I plan on shipping items directly to Echo for insertion, and am thinking about doing that instead of getting/shipping the box (just seems like hassle, and I don't plan on taking anything out)

Just let me know either way....

It will be two boxes.
One starts west and heads east and the other east going west.
That way the guys get a shot at all of the offerings and the troops really score!

Guys....I dropped the ball.

Work kicked me hard as I was leaving for our family vacation and I had a few address issues to resolve so they did not get out yesterday.
I am now out of town and won't be back until next Saturday.

I did not expect the hammering from work and it really messed with the limited time I had to pull everything together before we launched on the family vacation.
