Does anyone know if the igniter gets DC or AC from the controller? My stove shit the bed last night and the igniter isn’t getting hot, once I get home and warm the place up a bit I want to troubleshoot. I’ve never heard of an AC igniter but my only heating experience has been with oil burning furnaces.

EDIT. Igniter is shot, no continuity. I put some pellets in the firepot and lit them with a torch. Tomorrow I’ll see if the local HVAC place has one.

I think that my Quadra fire uses an AC element.
When I was looking for the control box last year, every igniter I saw was A/C.
