Do you have a steambox large enough to steam a pitchfork handle?

Quick and easy stem box can be made from a piece of downspout.
I made a storm door for an circular topped front door.
Piece of read oak bent to size that went over the top half of the door to stiffen it up.

I realize it can be readily made... but OP may not wish to go through the effort when he realizes he will need a steam box among other things to do this...

Um.  A steam box is for bending wood not metal.   Most fork handles are straight...

Okay I've got to come up with a steam box contraption... Then what? How do those two pieces of metal spline get attached?
How does the forks get attached?
I'm a project kind of guy, I just haven't done this one yet

I don't know on those. Just know you'll need a steam box to get the curve on the wood.

At what point did I give you the impression that I thought the steam box was for metal?

There's two pieces of spline metal that go inside of the handle
Most Pitchfork handles are curved...

Didn't mean to come off like that lol.   But all the ones I've used had straight handles.

Another possible issue is that the heat treating could be all out of wack due to the fire.

Not sure how to restore that.

Too soft and the tines will just bend with use , too hard and they will snap .

Be a shame to invest a bunch of time getting a new handle on it and then find it is not useable
