I have water leaking in from the header on my sliding glass door.  I just had a new roof overlay last year.  I live in the Pacific Northwest so its not like this new roof hasn't been seeing a lot of rain before.  The roof eve is over the sliding glass door so its not coming from the side of the house.  I'm guessing it must be a leak somewhere from above.  I went in the attic but couldn't get to the place where it is leaking to inspect it.  Should I be contacting the roofers or am I screwed?

Sounds like the new porch roof wasn't flashed properly.  Call the guy that did it and tell him to fix the problem.

Roofers came and said they fixed the problem.    There was a nail hole with no nail in it by the skylight.  I guess I will find out when it rains next.

The smallest hole makes a big difference.

Glad/hope you got it taken care of. Nothing worse than a pain in the ass leak that you cant find.
