I'm in the market for a new HT receiver. The receiver I'm currently running is a 7 year old Yamaha RXV-2095. Now keep in mind this is no "Best Buy" Yamaha. This receiver was one under their flagship model and cost me $1200.00 (7 years ago) It has performed beautifully for me and I have always been VERY impressed with the clean sound it puts through my Anthony Gallo Reference 3 speakers. The only reason I want to upgrade is for the HDMI ports.

I've pretty much narrowed it down to these:

Denon AVR-3808CI

Pioneer Elite VSX-94THX

Integra DTR-7.8

Denon AVR-4308CI ($600 more than the others)

(I would consider an equally priced Yamaha but I cant seem to find one anywhere local)

What do think?

I am in the same boat, I am running a RXV Yamaha and I have loved it. I have read really good reviews on the Denon products as well.

I have an older Pioneer elite VSX-07TX and have been quite happy with it over the years.

You could head over to AVS forum, I see a thread for the Pioneer model and I guess there is one for all the other models you listed.
