I have a 27" Samsung HDTV, love it so far.

It has the HDMI input on the back,

MY PC Is a P4 w/ a Nvidia 6600,

So is it even worth it  to try?

I have a 27" LCD TV and I connect my computer to it.  My TV uses DVI connection.  Great picture for my computer.  Plus with PIP I can watch TV while surfing the web.

Cool,

I think that with the HDMI input it shouldn't be a big deal,

have you played any games etc... on it?

Yes.  I have a xbox 360 hooked up and is quite awesome.  No ghosting effects that can occur in LCDs.  Overall, I'm very happy.

You can easily make the connection.  HDMI is the exact same signaling as DVI, but with audio connections added into it.  A cheap cable and you are off to the races.
