I have had a Sony VPL-HS10 for 3 years. It runs my HTPC and has a beautiful picture. Everyone who sees it is WOWed. I project onto a 106" pull down screen.

The new projectors are smaller, quieter and have better blacks. But the VPL-HS10 still has better resolution than any of the new models. I'm considering a Panasonic EA900 and a Sanyo Z4. Any feedback on either projector?

Is there a market for used projectors? Mine has 3,800 hours and is in need of a new lamp. I have the original box, remote, cable etc. Where could I sell it? I paid $3k for it new. Do you all think I could get $1k for it?

Somebody's asking 1k for one on EBay right now, but no bids yet.
