Finally watched it today for the first time!  Made for a perfect choice while cleaning my guns after a day at the range.

GREAT MOVIE!

Instant favorite of mine.

Yeah, but what was in the case?  A golden McGuffin?

Inquiring minds want to know.

Great movie.  I'll have to watch it again.

I love that movie.

The first time I watched it, I was actually bored. The second time I was thinking "what the fuck was wrong with me?"

What IS the color of the boat house at Hereford?  Damnit.  That movie doesn't ever just answer a fucking question.

One of the few movies where you see civi casualties.  The car chases are pretty good.

Anyone ever notice in the scene where they try to take the case from the BG's that DeNiro uses a 40mm launcher, a SIG550 (i think, some sorta AW), then a LAW, then a M249? That must have been one big back seat!

It was a specially made triggering device made for a lost Israeli nuclear warhead.  The IRA wanted it to start a new era of terrorism against Britian.  The Russians wanted it because they could squirrel it away for future use.  The Americans wanted to get it out of circulation, actually for the British.  Since the British had cut their intelligence services they didn't have the resources anymore so they asked for our help.  We did it however they had to know they were going to owe us one.  This is one reason they have stuck with us in Iraq.

LOL, I knew there was some reason they were still helping us.

I watched it after I did the Locks O' Truth.

Afterwards, I had to add an addendum to the post, because of the bad guy shooting the lock off the gate in the alley with his 9mm.

Older Mercedes sedan, big back seats. That's why I bought mine (that and a good sized trunk).
