The Long Kiss Goodnight

I have seen it several times and it still cracks me up
and seeing a young Gina in wet bra and panties doesn't hurt either

Y'all hated "Point Of No Return" how about this one?

any favorite lines?

Alley Agent: Hey, honey, this is a real big fucking gun.
Mitch Henessey: This ain't no ham on rye pal.
Charlie: What the hell are you doing?
Mitch Henessey: Saving your life. I would have been here sooner,
but I was thinkin' up that 'ham on rye' line.

One of Samuel L's best roles.

Gina Davis: Honk if there's any trouble.

Samuel L: Yessum Miss Diasy, I be a honkin'

One of my all-time favorite movies.

Nathan: Alice, please? Your dog, Alice - it and my appetite are mutually exclusive.

Alice: Well, what's wrong with the dog?

Nathan: Simple...he's been licking his asshole for the last three straight hours. I submit to you that there is nothing there worth more than an hour's attention and I should think that whatever he is attempting to dislodge, is either gone for good... or there to stay.

this comes up from time to time, and the movie seems to get shredded for the most part.
i can understand that some of it is a stretch, but i allow myself to just go with it, accept the premise, and i love the shit out of the movie.
chefs do that.

Charlie: Easy, sport. Got myself out of Beirut once, I think I can get out of New Jersey.
Mitch Henessey: Yeah, well don't be so sure. Others have tried and failed. The entire population, in fact.

I think this movie showed the first ever on screen hits made by a Mini-14.  And the scene where she furiously ice skates across the lake to wax the escaping bad guy car was even better than classic James Bond.

one shot to the tire to bring them to the ice
one shot to each of the bad guys through the windshield
while skating towards their accelerating vehicle...........

she shoots better than Dirty Harry

40 years young? I think she was really starting to show her age in this movie. Particularly the lines around her mouth. She looks better when her hair was longer and/or red.

I liked Craig Bierko (Timothy) in this movie.

Not a terrible movie. It's watchable despite some of the "factual errors" like the ball of flame from the grenade that chases down the hallway.
