This is one movie I am hoping an praying will be made a reality.

Transformers (2007)

Last I heard Steven Spielberg was supposed to be directing it. Now I see Michael Bay's name on IMDb... that's scary.

Odds are they'll hold back on making it an overly violent movie that would rate it above PG-13. I think it could still be watchable though. Hopefully they'll be able to get the people who did the voices for at least Optimus Prime. Would be kind of gay if they thought that some mainstream Hollywood actor would somehow be a better voice.

Looks like the CGI technology is certainly capable of taking on a movie like this now.

I remember the first transformers movie.  I was a kid, but I liked it.

Optimus Prime was so cool.
