Nothing extravagant, just something for $500 or less than does a decent job playing records.  All the "best turntables under $500" lists have the same models over and over and none of them really seem to do it for me.  I want simple but nice.  No Bluetooth or USB needed.   I know I want something that is adjustable, with parts availability.  I'm not opposed to buying something older I just want something serviceable that works and really have no clue what to look for in a used turntable or even the best place look for one.

Any tips or advice will be appreciated.
