Whew!  That was a close one.  I was afraid that someone would make a superhero movie that didn't have a costume with fake abs.  Looks like I can rest easy.

Lets just hope they keep the stupid politics out of this one. Captain America is the only upcoming Avengers film I'm worried about.

What's with the fake wear on the shield and helmet?

They should have just thrown them down the driveway.

Looks like a rather cheap costume. Hopefully it is just for scenes on the motorcycle, where freedom of movement can prove useful...

Yeah, thats the stunt-costume. I'm sure Chris Evans will have the nice-looking hero outfit for the closeups.

I always laugh at movies that are from another era and every vehicle looks brand new.

Because they didn't make new vehicles in the 40's?

Local Harley shop/museum (2 story building, shop below and museum above) has one that looks just like that.  According to the owner it was purchased still in the crate from surplus brand new.

I don't understand his comment, either.  Cars from the 40's were NEW in the forties.  At that time they were not vintage cars with a patina, they were brand-spanking new.

Then why are you highlighting his junk and not her ass?

No, it's just that every car looks new. There aren't many movies based in era's past that have weathered looking vehicles that look like they have been around a while.
