and for those who have not received Christ Jesus as Lord and Savior, I prey you do. Christ is real, Heaven is real and Hell is real. Jesus Died for our sins, sin which we were all born into. Romans 10:9) That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. John 3:16) For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For those who would argue this point, I did not post it to debate but only to share the truth |

Same here. Saved by Grace. I didnt deserve it, I didnt want it, I did nothing to cause it. It was all Gods chosing and I thank Him daily for it. |

That's the amazing thing about it. We don't and can't deserve it. It's humbling to consider the contrast between justice (what we deserve) and grace (the mercy He gives us). |

Deserve has nothing to do with it. Many churches will try to teach you that you did something to deserve it, but its all of grace. |

"Therefore we also pray always for you that our God would count you worthy of this calling, and fulfill all the good pleasure of His goodness and the work of faith with power, that the name of our Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified in you, and you in Him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ."
Sadly, I fufill all prerequisites to being a born again Christian except for "that the name of our Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified in you...". To the best of my knowledge, no one has ever known me for a day and said "there's a Christian". I sin enough so repeatedly and publicly, that no stranger could ever "know me by my fruits". The best I get is "he's a swell guy and a patriot". Not bad, but below the mark.
