probably a real shroud, but the one Jesus used? Who knows?  There's way too much interest in chasing down anything Jesus supposedly touched: the Holy grail, the spear, the shroud, etc.  Those things aren't Jesus.  And God didn't send a shroud to save mankind.

If it is proven to be authentic, cool.

If it is proven to be a fake, that's OK, too.  It won't affect my faith.
