Check the door sticker or the owners' manual for the stock size.  Rule of thumb is one size larger.

Keep in mind a taller or wider tire will rub wheelwells or suspension parts.  This can limit your turning radius.  If you have aftermarket wheels the off set may be different making the rub worse.

A 3 in body lift can cause the air intake boot between the airbox and the intake throttle body to be too short or tear an old petrified one.  This boot is about $200 and is necessary for the engine to properly run.  This is the 3.0 liter engine.  The 3.4 has the boot on the other side and should not be a problem.

My 2 cents.  Good luck.

3.0 liter  V6 has the boot angled down from the throttle body.  So when the body and the inner fender were raised it turned the angled part of the boot so it was stressed causing damage.

Is the 4 liter a V6?  I can"t recall seeing a 4 liter but my CRS(can't remember shit) has kicked in.

ya it is a 4.0 v6 .. I think that is the only option for a 2004...besides the v8 limited

You should be able to run 265/75/16 or 265/70/17.

Skip the body lift and get some Bilstein 5100 shocks and an AAL instead.
