You will need to take it to somebody who is qualified to work on automotive AC, somebody who knows what they are doing. You will also need to have an understanding of what you want to have done. There are lots of things that could have happened. If you haven't had a failure in the compressor, then it probably won't be too bad. Could be a blocked evaporator, could be a failed fan, could be a failing blower fan caused an frozen solid evaporator, which caused condensation on the outside, which then thawed and collected in the floor. Leaking refrigerant means you really need to have the leak fixed properly, if it is allowing refrigerant out, it is allowing air into the AC system, air contains moisture, moisture, even a few drops, can and will destroy your compressor eventually.
On the worst end you may be looking at $1300-1500 for a six, but it could be much less depending on what failed and how.
I have done Automotive AC work on the side before, and when I do, I explain carefully to customers what is wrong, and why just replacing the failed part isn't a good idea (especially on Fords with bad compressors) to only replace what is broken. Often people only want me to get it blowing cold for as cheap as possible. They will ask me to just fill it up when it has a leak, I won't do that, not for anybody, it is illegal, and really bad for the environment. They will ask me to replace just the bad compressor, I will but I have a form that I have them sign that details what the condition called Black Death is in an AC system, and why other components should also be changed at the same time if the systems shows signs of this.
