I get the hell out of there first and spend no time at the stops so I try to avoid the group

this is the only one I ever do its a memorial run for a friend of mine

He died of heart problems not a bike accident
he was a HD guy and a JBT but I did not hold it against him
great guy I miss him

Ill get some pics tomorrow of my lonely Yamaha and my buddies CBR in the sea of chrome

Yup, that's the best plan.  Drop 'em like a dirty shirt.  Not a damn thing they can do about it anyway.

Just pretend you're really interested by stock quotes or open heart surgery, you'll be fine.

thanks its been in the family since late 70s

aside from the epic campaign against the malfunctioning top
actually it is more like guerrilla war goes on for years and once you think you got it done it crops up again

Great pics how was that Can Am spyder?

The dealer I worked at sold them got to ride um around  ,actally rode the very one in the pic a couple times before it sold

I liken it to riding a snowmobile with a manual clutch , they are a 990cc twin but the power is unremarkable

Most exciting thing about them is that they have no front brake lever everything goes through the brake pedal like a car

So we would get guys test riding them and then start reaching for the front brake and panic when there was no lever there

The demo machine at the dealer got ran into a few things at low speeds
No matter how many times you tell a person before they go on a test ride IT HAS NO FRONT BRAKE LEVER!!!!  TYhey would still reach for it and then panic for a second or 2 until they remembered the brake pedal
