Anyone see the special that was on last night in Spike?
They overhauled the overhauler!  the crew pulled one over on Chip..stole his old Ford half ton his father had given him. They did it over a few blocks from the shop the show uses..some crew where working on the show then working on his truck. They presented it to him at the Jack Roush booth at the SEMA show. He asked ''Is this my truck?" and started crying. I hate getting choked up watching a gear head show!

Only thing good about that show is Mrs Coddington.

I haven't watched overhaulin in a while and is boyd's show even on anymore? I quit watching it after my suspicions of his big head were confirmed. I'm guessing Charlie walked out too? That Duane feller was a tool. I don't see how boyd has stayed around as long as he has.

Chip does awesome work and I love the show, but I can't help but feel sorry for the owners of the 68 Olds they did.
 They got a killer paint job, and a custom interior, but the rest of the car left a bad taste in their mouthes.

Not only that, but putting in the wrench time is almost the best part of owning a car like that. At least for me, it is. If I ever got "overhauled", I think I'd be pissed. |

If they overhauled my first car (64 Rambler American 2 door) I'd be overjoyed.
If they did it to my IROC I'd be pissed..unless they left the body/ paint stock and just upgraded the suspension brakes,etc. |
