You might want to check your local regs-that stuff might not be legal.

My only question is "why?"

I mean, to each their own and all, but I RARELY use my horn.  I can't imagine spending that much on something I'd literally never use.

Come down here, youll have hand print permanently etched onto the center of steering wheel from hitting the horn so much. Lotta jackass drivers around here.

There's a guy in Houston that's got those on an F350. It'd be fun, but I've got better uses for my money.

Lots of jackass drivers in St Louis and KC and Chicago and Dallas.  Still rarely use my horn.  I know they won't pay attention to it anyway, so why bother?  I know that leads into the argument of "louder is better" but I'm willing to bet a bunch of the same jackass drivers have their music turned up so damned loud they wouldn't even hear the train horn.

That would be great for when people decide that the roadway is a sidewalk.

Just like everything else in life.

Besides, the horn is going on my Hummer .  I have no plans of using it all the time, but it will come in handy sometimes ;)

And yes, they are illegal, but mine will be mounted in the engine compartment, and the compressor and 3 gal tank in the truck bed area.  I am going to buy all the parts seperate.  I asked around, and most of the "kits" on ebay are junk.  The only good ones are the Viair compressors that are 100% duty cycle.  You also need a minimum 3 gal tank to get the full effect, along w/ 1/2" hoses.  Another nice thing about the compressor, is that it can be used to run air tools, and inflate large tires.  I'll post some pics once I get mine finished.

I'd like to see an ooga horn on a high-end sports car or a luxury SUV, but then I'm weird.

Maybe a limo horn that sounds like the General Lee.

Sorry to bust your bubble, but you are wrong!

This is under the hood of an H2.

Also, the K5LA is way too big for what I am wanting to do...plus I am not going to drop $1K-2K for just the horn alone.

It's just a little tight.  The horns are 17"x15"x11" overall.
